When you experience an after-hours dental emergency and are a patient of record, Dr. Adams or her partner, Dr. Mark Barraza, can be reached at (619) 425-7700. The dentist on call will contact you as soon as possible, assess your situation over the phone and meet you at the office for examination and treatment if necessary.

• INFECTION CONTROL
Your dental health is too important to neglect, so don't let questions about safety keep you away. Dr. Adams stringently follows the American Dental Association protocol for universal precautions.
Dental instruments are cleaned and sterilized using an autoclave (steam under pressure) after each patient visit, and disposable items such as saliva ejectors are discarded after each use. Please call Dr. Adams’ staff at (619) 425-7700 to discuss your concerns about safety and infection control.
